Thanks to a donation from The Open Technology Institute in Washington DC, Abaarso School students spent past the term building a campus wide "mesh" wifi network. Using a technology developed by OTI called Commotion, students were able to build a "self-healing" network that expanded wifi coverage to the reach the dorms and other school buildings on campus. The experience was documented by computer teacher Dan Hastings on The Open Tech Institute's blog which can be found here.
